Status Corrosion assessment and prediction

Corrosion assessment and risk analysis can be done by analyzing of all relating data, including but not limited to, pre-design corrosion assessments, material selection, anti-corrosion mitigation analysis, system design, self-design and perform of CP system installs, third party reports, maintenance records, real environmental analysis, operational conditions, MIC investigation, and well-chosen samples laboratory analysis.

By our assessment report client can take in time the correct action to correct and elongate facilities service age, and get the suitable performance without affecting badly on production and/or surrounding environment.

Corrosion Failure Analysis

Any failure can be analyzed by GCCAT to define the reasons of this failure, how to minimize its effects, stop its repetition, and how to treat this failure economically to put the failed facility again in operation.

Cathodic Protection Survey & Design

Internal and external corrosion indications can be investigated using the most suitable apparatus, either the pipeline/ facility is on-surface or sub-surface. Cathodic protection system of tanks, pipelines can be evaluated and reactivated, or can be designed for new projects.

Coating design & Survey

Coating system is very important to isolate facilities from surrounding corrosive environmental conditions. Any weakness or damage in coating system will lead to serious external corrosion fatigue. Good design and execution of coating, and periodically evaluation of it, are very essential in ensuring the safe condition of facility.

Chemical additives evaluation

Additives such as corrosion inhibitors, oxygen scavengers, biocides, scale inhibitors and others must be evaluated for its compatibility, capability to do its purpose, the adduct doses. GCCAT can do all the laboratory analysis to evaluate all additives related to corrosion and scales.

Corrosion Integrality Management of oil field

GCCAT, depending on its experience and experts, is offering the integrated management of the field for the benefits clients. Corrosion monitoring, inspection plan design, maintenance plan design and chemical additives management- purchasing-storing-evaluation (totally or partially) are samples of required integrated managements.

GCCAT is able to implement authorization programs, under the umbrella of solid international companies for the followings:
1. In the field of non-destructive tests (NON-DESTRACTIVE TESTS) for levels I, II and III for the five methods (VT-UT-MT-RT-PT).
2. For cathodic protection authorizations for the first, second and third levels.
3. Granting authorizations for the first and second levels in the field of coating (COATING) for all types of pipes and tanks.
